About Dr. Hann

Dr. Marty J. Hann grew up in Minneapolis, Minnesota. He did his under-graduate work at the University of Minnesota and then his graduate work at the University of Minnesota Dental School where he graduated in 1981. That same year he moved to the Coeur d’Alene area and began practicing dentistry in a shared office with Dr. Richard Smart until 1988. In 1988 he moved into his own office on Northwest Blvd. and continued his practice there until 2002. Then in 2002, he built his current office at 8385 N. Cornerstone Drive in Hayden, Idaho.

Dr. Hann is the director of the dental clinic at the Union Gospel Mission Center for Women and Children in Coeur d’Alene. He has arranged for equipment donations for the clinic and has a hygienist that is helping him set up the center.

Dr. Hann enjoys bicycling on the Centennial Trail, kayaking on the Spokane river and going to movies. He also leads church bible study groups.

He has also served as a dental missionary in Kenya, Honduras, Tibet and Zambia. On many of these trips his family has also been able to travel along with him and volunteer at the medical mission clinics. Click here for more information about the mission trips.

He appreciates being a local dentist and being able to help the community in Hayden, Coeur d’Alene and Post Falls. He regularly participates in the “Give Kids a Smile” campaign each February doing dental work for children in need as a local dentist in the community. He and his staff have also spoken to grade school aged classrooms about how to take good care of their teeth.
