Dr. Don Tatalovich is the newest doctor on the Cornerstone Dental team! Following his upbringing in rural Wisconsin, he studied biology and public health to receive his bachelor’s and master’s degrees. Taking a short career detour, he enlisted in the US Navy. Completing his naval service as a rescue swimmer in San Diego, he and his wife returned to the midwest to complete his dental school education. While in school, they added two more members to their family, being blessed with two enthusiastic sons. Having finally arrived in Hayden, they are excited to join the Cornerstone family and the greater community here in northern Idaho. When not doing dentistry, he and his wife enjoy biking and hiking with the boys and attending their local church. They are having fun exploring the local area, so if you have recommendations on things to do or see please pass them along when you meet him.
As does Dr. Hann, he enjoys talking with patients about how overall health impacts their oral health. It is a personal goal of his to thoroughly educate patients so they are able to make informed decisions about home care, prevention, and treatment. He believes that education and prevention will continue to play an increasingly important role in oral health, so please ask questions when you meet him. He is a member of a number of insurance networks, but our office is happy to work with patients of any insurance status. He looks forward to getting to know all of the loyal patients at Cornerstone as well as new patients that might be looking for a dental home!
